TeleDrive is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not operate storage servers, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across apps or websites. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and how it is used.
Important: TeleDrive is a client for Telegram. All files you store through TeleDrive are uploaded to and hosted on Telegram's servers. While TeleDrive itself collects minimal data, Telegram has its own data practices which apply independently. We strongly encourage you to review the Telegram Privacy Policy before using the service.
TeleDrive is designed to collect as little information as possible. The only category of information we collect is voluntary, anonymized feedback that you choose to submit through the in-app feedback feature. When you submit feedback, it contains no account identifiers, no device identifiers, no IP addresses, and no information that can be traced back to you. It is used solely to improve the application.
Beyond the voluntary feedback described above, we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, IP address, location, or any personally identifiable information. We do not embed advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services that transmit data off your device, or third-party analytics. No personal data is transmitted to any server we operate.
TeleDrive stores the following information exclusively on your device:
None of this data leaves your device except as described in the "Data Transmitted to Telegram" section below.
TeleDrive communicates with Telegram's servers using the official TDLib library and the Telegram API. All network traffic to Telegram is encrypted by the Telegram MTProto protocol. The data transmitted includes your session token (for authentication), file uploads you initiate, and file-download requests you initiate.
This communication is governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy. TeleDrive has no visibility into, and no control over, how Telegram stores or processes that data on its servers. By using TeleDrive you acknowledge and accept Telegram's independent data practices.
To use TeleDrive you must supply a Telegram API ID and API Hash obtained directly from Telegram (my.telegram.org). These credentials are entered by you at setup and stored exclusively in your device's secure local storage. They are never transmitted to any server we control.

No permission is requested beyond what is necessary for the stated functionality.
TeleDrive is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted feedback through the app, please contact us at teledrive_privacy@qwase-apps.uk and we will delete it promptly.
TeleDrive is available globally. Because we collect no personal data and process only fully anonymized voluntary feedback, we believe our practices are compatible with major privacy frameworks including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, and similar laws worldwide. TeleDrive integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit data off your device.
The app provides optional links to third-party donation platforms (Stripe and Buy Me a Coffee) so you can support development voluntarily. Tapping these links opens an external browser or the respective third-party app — you leave TeleDrive entirely. Any payment information you enter is collected and processed solely by Stripe or Buy Me a Coffee under their own terms and privacy policies. TeleDrive does not receive, store, or have access to any payment data. All donations are voluntary and non-refundable; we do not offer refunds or cancellations for completed donations.
If we integrate additional third-party services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe them before any such integration is released.

You can delete all locally stored app data at any time by clearing the app's data through your device's system settings or by uninstalling the application. To remove files stored on Telegram's servers, use the Telegram app directly. To request deletion of any feedback you submitted, contact us at teledrive_privacy@qwase-apps.uk.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the application. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of TeleDrive after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
TeleDrive is an independent application. The sole point of contact for legal, privacy, and support enquiries is the email address below. A formal legal entity name and mailing address will be added to this policy prior to the application's public release.
